Answers to Frequently Asked Questions

How do you know when it's time to seek professional help for agoraphobia?

If anxiety, panic, and avoidance behavior is frequent and severe enough to interfere with the flow of your daily life then it's time to get professional help. This is when your symptoms are hindering you at work, school, social events, or in your relationships with family or friends.

If you are just feeling anxious a lot of the time or your avoidance behavior is mild to moderate, you might recover through reading and following a good self-help program.
